More holiday fun

I just have to add a little more about our holiday vacation. This is our family journal, so if it doesn't get here, it won't be anywhere.....
After Christmas we had many sleepovers with cousins. It is so fun to see them so excited to be together, but it is wearing. So thank you to those of you who put up with my kids a time or two and it was fun to have extras here to entertain us. We had a blast on New Years' Day at the farm sledding, riding the snowmobile and 4 wheeler. The husband was hunting, so I got to give rides to the kids and play with them. It was a lot of fun. The kids wore off all the snow on the little "hill" and I think they would have continued if it hadn't gotten dark. We had sloppy-joes and treats and hot cocoa and even had a bonfire of dead Christmas trees. We slept well that night. The next day we went to SLC to see my sisters and just be together. A few of us went to see Marley and Me. I thought the show was ok, just not a show for little kids. We thought it would be more about the dog and it was more about the family....We stopped at the Planetarium and I wish we had have spent all our time there, it is way cool! We drove home in a blizzard and got to bed at a more decent hour. On Saturday I had to help with the Annual Primary breakfast, so we were up early and got to eat breakfast with all our friends. It went really well. For those who may want to know, our Primary presidency changed, and I am now now the first counselor. I am SO glad I get to stay with the Primary! I love it! It was crazy on Sunday dealing with new people and new kids and new teachers, etc. I hope this Sunday is a little less crazy! The husband got home late on Sat and he got his cow elk. He cooked us up some and everyone enjoyed it very much! My Grandmother stayed with my mom for the holidays and it was so nice to see her. She is so cute making sure she got to hug each of the kids and say hello to them all. She is now 95 and she still remembers birthdays and activities, what an amazing lady! My older brother-the one that got married in July- called me on New Years Eve to wish us a Happy New Year and then told us that he and his wife are expecting! We are SO excited for them! We will have a bunch of new babies next year! What fun!
Now the kids are back to school and their activities! I was kinda sad to see them go, but kinda glad to have things back to the routine, and I have to admit I like a little alone time. Thanks for putting up with my randomness!
