Last Thursday the kids and I went to my mom's school to see their version of Into the Woods. They did a good job for being 3rd to 6th graders. The costumes and backgrounds were really simple and cute. There were a few kids that were really impressive! The kids really enjoyed it.
On Friday I got to go with my mom to Ballet West production of Madame Butterfly. I loved the scenery and the costumes were fantastic, not to mention the beautiful dancing! It was really nice to be with Mom and do something out of the ordinary. We went to hang out with friends on Saturday. We had really good food and good times chatting. The kids had a blast and didn't want to leave! (the hubby and I just don't like Valentine's, so I think we do all we can to avoid it!)
Then Sunday my sister had her baby. He is 3 weeks early and has had a little trouble, so he is on oxygen but is improving and hopefully will come home with his mom tomorrow. Becky is doing fine now too. I think she is still in shock that he is already here.
