2 weeks down

First day of school pictures.






We have survived our first two weeks of school. Everyone is still in good spirits about getting up and getting homework done, etc. We have started all the extra activities and that keeps up busy. I have to say it is nice to have the oldest help watch the other kids for a few minutes while I run another one here or there. Those days of sitting in the van all together waiting for dance or soccer practices are over! Three of the kids are in soccer, both girls are taking piano and oldest daughter has dance two nights a week for 2 hrs each. Fun stuff. We are excited for soccer games and not doing anything else on Saturdays for the next 7 weeks. :)
This week each of the big boys lost a tooth, what fun brotherly bonding.
The youngest started pre-school on Wed and was so excited to go. He had to wear his "cool" shirt and take his "awesome" backpack! He was really cute after we got there he just looked at me and said "you can leave now and come back and get me later". Okey-doeky! But today he threw a fit getting ready and getting in the van and I practically had to pick him up to get him inside. He was worried about me being all alone! I told him I was a big girl and I would be fine. I guess it took him a minute to calm down, but he did and was happy to see me when I came to get him. I hope Monday goes better. He has been kinda stinky lately. Maybe too much time with me alone makes my kids crazy....can't say that I blame them! So, I have been to the store too often, doing PTA stuff and doing some painting here and there. (As soon as this second room is done, I will post pictures of both.) I have stayed busy and really haven't savored my alone time yet, maybe next week.
