Random thoughts

Well, here I am staying up too late looking at all the blogs I have not been able to read for a few days. Our computer decided to go nutty, but thanks to my wonderfully talented, genius brothers we are up and running again! (How many brothers does it take to help Kate fix a computer? 2- one to diagnose over the phone, one to actually troubleshoot and fix) Thanks guys! Why does it feel like life sometimes revolves around this dumb thing? I can't pay bills- for personal or business, blog, check email, shop, im, oh and no Webkins or Lego.com. The kids have been mad for days too.
So, the hubby left Friday night to go to Arizona for baseball and football games with some friends. Actually it was 2 couples and him. I opted out of this trip, because I didn't want to go if I couldn't see the Cowboys, and who wants to take over my family for a weekend? I was bummed to have missed this trip, but hopefully I can go next time. So, Monday when he got to the airport he jumped in his already packed truck and headed to Moab to meet up with the elk hunting group. So, who knows when he will return, it all depends on when they get that prize elk!
I have finally finished with painting and now we are waiting for carpet and then we can get that room back to normal and move onto the next one. :( I have to say, I am tired of painting and the Home Depot will probably shut down if they see me again.
I got to have a little girl time and go with my mom and my aunt to dinner while my cousin tended the kids. They had a great time and so did we. We had yummy food and talked forever, so much fun! I've also stayed up too late watching movies and doing nothing. I hate going to bed too early when the hubby is gone.
My really good friend had her baby Sunday after a long and miserable pregnancy, only to have a terrible delivery with a C-section at the end. The baby is doing fine, but she has not been so good. She had a blood clot in the beginning of the pregnancy and that just adds to the stress of delivery and then a few things have gone wrong. I think she is finally stabilizing and things will get better. I have 2 of her kids tonight because her husband can't really leave her and their families aren't close to the school, etc. They are really good kids, so I don't mind helping. I think my family scares them because they are so mild and quiet and we are not!! Having a few extra kids just adds a little more. Speaking of extra kids, I got to have two of my nephews last week, one 4yrs one 5mos. They were so fun. The 4 year old and my 4 year old are best buddies so they were easy and the baby is such a good boy and so fun to hold and play with. I really enjoy being in a place in my life where the idea of an extra child or two makes me happy instead of scared to death.
This is getting long, sorry. I will end by saying:
BYU Rules!
Way to go Cowboys!
Isn't fall wonderful :)
