Camping

So, we ended up leaving Monday to go to Hoop Lake in the Uintas. We got up there, set up and spent some time exploring and catching a few fish. The next day it was pretty cold, but the kids took shifts on reeling in the fish and I read a book, snuggled in a sleeping bag. Around 4ish the hubby and kids came back and said the camp host had said that there was a snow storm headed our way, estimated to leave about 4 inches of snow. Well, I said "I'm out of here!" (I am not so wimpy, but really....and I have 5 kids who like to complain about the cold and I hate it too!) So, we packed up the stuff and got out of there. The hubby was kinda sad because he wanted to keep fishing and exploring new trails. Oh, well. He will be back there next week with all the boys and he can fish and freeze all he wants! I really don't mind camping, but I am getting a little spoiled and I prefer the weather to be warmer and there are things that I don't like going too many days without. I'm sure we will be camping again before the summer is over.

I'm jealous of your camping. I am so ready to go. I can wait until it's done raining/snowing though. :)
