On my own

So, Mr. Kate left today to go Bear hunting. (Gag, I know.... the kids are very disturbed by this.) He is actually just helping a friend, who will do the actual shooting. My hubby is just there for the experience and to do the filming. They will be gone for 5 days for sure. If they don't get a bear by then, they may be gone for longer. So, I get to do the last week of school on my own. Not too bad, just a bunch of activities going on. We have a super crazy day tomorrow, final soccer games, dance pictures and a shower for my future sister-in-law. I'm sure we will be fine. I will be watching a lot of chick flicks and looking for another good read. I tend to go to bed a lot later when he isn't here. Plus side of being on my own: mac and cheese is OK for dinner, or cereal for that matter; no saw dust on furniture or clothes; I get to decide what we watch after the kids go to bed; and finally no video games until odd hours of the morning. See, I can see the positive in everything!
