Knee surgery

My husband had surgery on his knee today. Back in December he was playing a fun game of basketball with friends. He came down on his leg weird, exactly what happened is still a mystery. I knew it was bad when he stopped at the clinic to check it out on the way home. So, a few days later he went to the specialist and found out that it was a full sever of the ACL and sprained MCL and probably maniscus tear. Anyhow, here we are today and they fixed him up well, he has a few screws in his bones now. He is doing fine and just a little tired. We will see how much pain he is in tomorrow. We are both just happy to have it over and on the road to recovery. He will start physical therapy on Friday. (They don't waste any time.) He is on crutches and he can't even think about working for 2 weeks. Luckily his brother that works with him can take charge and keep things going while he is out. I think it will be fun to have him around. He has grand plans of X-BOX live, hours of uninterupted play, someone getting him whatever he needs, and just kicken' back and relaxing. This should be fun.....

Yesterday was my youngests' 4th birthday! Wow! He is big now. He is so much fun and a real joy. He talks like his big brothers and knows everything they know. That is, about Legos, Star Wars and that kind of stuff. I enjoy our time together just the two of us each day. He is really attached to me and we go everywhere together. It only bothers me sometimes.

It is also my in-laws Anniversary today! 48 years! WOW! They are awesome and we love them lots!
